This note summarizes the scheduled introductory phone call with the WGU Clinical Learning and Placement Services (CLPS) team regarding lab and clinical placement for the BSN program.
Clinical Structure Overview
Clinicals are supervised by two roles: a preceptor who is an employee of the clinical facility, and a WGU-affiliated clinical instructor. All clinical sites are located within a 60-mile radius of the center of Kansas City.
Labs
There are 3 lab experiences in the program, one of which is conducted virtually.
